Atlético Madrid do not want to include Yannick Carrasco in Memphis Depay deal

Atlético Madrid are not keen on the idea of including Yannick Carrasco in a deal with Barcelona for Memphis Depay, report Mundo Deportivo.

Yesterday it was communicated that Los Colchoneros are interested in bringing the Dutchman to the Estadio Metropolitano following the departure of João Félix to Chelsea on loan earlier this week.

While the Blaugrana are not keen on doing business with their rival, it is believed that they are ready to continue negotiating with Atlético Madrid as this is the last opportunity the club have to receive a transfer fee for Depay, whose contract at the Nou Camp is set to expire in June.

It is believed that Barcelona have proposed the idea of including Carrasco in the deal, who has been linked with a move away from the Spanish capital for quite some time. However, it appears as though Atléti do not want to include the Belgian in a possible agreement.

The two parties are set to continue negotiations into next week.
