Atlético Madrid deny interest in Real Madrid’s James Rodíguez

Atlético de Madrid have denied having any interest in signing Real Madrid’s James Rodíguez, according to Deportes Cuatro.

Reports in Colombia suggested a deal between the cross-city rivals was almost completed for the midfielder.

Javier Hernández of Blu Radio in Colombia reported that the deal was 80 percent done, however Deportes Cuatro claim the clubs haven’t held talks. It is believed in Madrid that Los Blancos will look for a suitor for the Colombian, having fallen out of favour with head coach Zinedine Zidane.
