Atlético Madrid and Sevilla enter the race to sign Sofyan Amrabat

Sofyan Amrabat was one of the outstanding performers during the 2022 World Cup in Qatar as Morocco made their way to the last four of the tournament.

The Fiorentina player has risen in value and many of Europe’s top sides are now interested in signing the holding midfielder in 2023.

Serie A side Fiorentina, however, say he is not for sale. AS report via Italian outlet Gazetta dello Sport that there are four teams currently interested in the Morocco international.

But it won’t be easy to sign Amrabat. With a market value of €45m and a contract in Florence until 2025, the suitors involved will have to make a serious effort to make the transfer happen.

The Italian newspaper reports that both Liverpool and Antonio Conte’s Tottenham are tracking the 26-year-old player, with the Londoners reportedly leading the race for a player who was crucial to Morocco’s excellent World Cup showing.

La Liga sides Atlético Madrid and the struggling Sevilla are now also reportedly monitoring the player’s situation.
