La Liga outfit Athletic Club have this week secured reinforcements to the club’s attacking ranks for the remainder of the campaign.
That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, citing El Correo, who point towards Maroan Sannadi as the player all set to make the move to the Basque Country.
Frontman Sannadi, for his part, has spent the season to date plying his trade away from parent club Deportivo Alavés, with Barakaldo.
And the 23-year-old’s performances have long been drawing admiring glances from Spain’s top-flight.
Sannadi, all told, has racked up 11 goals in 20 league appearances in 2024/25.
And such exploits, as alluded to above, look set to give rise to an imminent transfer for the attacker away from Barakaldo.
As per a report from Mundo Deportivo, over the coming days, Sannadi will see his loan terms terminated, ahead of a return to Alavés.
From here, the Spaniard will then be immediately moved on to fellow La Liga outfit Athletic Club, joining the club’s first-team ranks under the watch of Ernesto Valverde.
