Mauricio Pochettino is expected to leave PSG in June. According to L’Équipe via AS, Athletic Club are among his suitors and have already contacted him over the possibility of managing the Basque side.
Pochettino’s arrival would mean the end of Marcelino’s spell at the club. The Spanish head coach, whose current deal expires next month, has not yet renewed his contract with Athletic and looks set to leave San Mamés this summer, which is why Athletic have already made contact with Pochettino.
The Argentine coach has previously managed in Spain with Espanyol.
