Five players have already left Sevilla this summer and the club’s sporting director, Monchi, continues to work on the departure of more.
Another of the players who looks set to leave is Ludwig Augustinsson. According to Fabrizio Romano, the Swedish left-back is very close to a loan move to Aston Villa.
The loan deal will consist of a payment of €500,000 and an option to buy. Augustinsson is one of the Sevilla players who has not joined the club’s pre-season tour due to time away with the Swedish national team.
The full-back made 27 appearances last season, providing one assist.
