Barcelona winger Ez Abde has received offers from clubs including Aston Villa and Bayer Leverkusen, according to Mundo Deportivo.
Several weeks ago La Liga club Real Betis showed their interest but the club’s financial difficulties make it problematic to progress with a possible deal. Ramon Planes, current Betis sporting director, signed the exciting talent for Barça from Hercules in August 2021 after paying his €2m release clause.
After impressing on loan at Osasuna last season, he is now being linked with the possibility of playing under two Basque coaches: Unai Emery at Aston Villa and Xabi Alonso at Bayer Leverkusen.
In Birmingham, he would play for Villa in this season’s Conference League, and under Alonso, he would have the opportunity of playing Europa League football in 2023-24.
