Arsenal receive an offer for Pablo Marí from Hellas Verona

As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Arsenal have received an offer from Hellas Verona to sign Pablo Marí.

Arsenal have been looking to offload the Spanish defender this transfer window. He spent the second half of the season playing for Udinese and multiple Serie A clubs have shown interest in securing the Spaniard’s services for the upcoming season.

Monza were in pole position to sign the 28-year-old, offering a loan deal with an option to buy clause which they would not have to activate if they get relegated.

However, Arsenal would prefer to sell Marí permanently and Hellas Verona are offering to buy the Spanish defender outright.

Whichever offer they accept, it seems certain that the centre-back will leave Arsenal this summer.

Marí arrived to Arsenal from Flamengo in 2020, but failed to become a regular in the starting XI. He made 19 appearances for the Gunners in all competitions and scored one goal.
