Arsenal keen to keep Héctor Bellerín; Atlético Madrid monitor situation

Arsenal have not lost hope that Héctor Bellerín will stay at the club for the new season, according to The Guardian.

The Premier League side are reportedly preparing to offer the Spanish right-back a new contract. Bellerín’s representatives met Edu, the club’s technical director, this week and were informed the Gunners would like him to extend his deal, which ends in 2023.

Inter Milan are interested in Bellerín and have proposed a one-year loan with an option to buy next summer, however, Arsenal will entertain only a permanent move or a loan with an obligation to buy.

Atlético Madrid are also monitoring the Bellerín situation closely, with their defender Kieran Trippier keen to return to England and Manchester United considering a move for the LaLiga winner.
