Arnaut Danjuma in London to push for Premier League move

Arnaut Danjuma has travelled to London in order to push through a move to the Premier League, report Marca.

The 25-year-old was not named in the Villarreal squad that played Celta Vigo on Friday and he flew to the British capital this afternoon in order to negotiate a transfer to the Premier League.

It is no secret that Danjuma wants to return to the English top flight and he gave an interview on the topic to The Athletic in December.

The Dutchman joined Villarreal in the summer of 2021 from Bournemouth in the interest of playing Champions League football and was part of the side led by Unai Emery that reached the semi-final of the competition last season.

However, Villarreal have only been playing in the Europa Conference League this season and it appears as though Danjuma is keen to return to the Premier League.

The Netherlands international is being linked with his former club Bournemouth, as well as Unai Emery’s Aston Villa.
