‘Are you leaving, too?’ – How Kylian Mbappé’s brother responded to PSG boss Enrique’s probe

An insight into a humorous exchange between Paris Saint-Germain head coach Luis Enrique, and Ethan Mbappé, has come to the fore online.

The back-and-forth in question came on Friday, upon Kylian Mbappé, older brother of Ethan, announcing his decision to depart to his teammates in Paris.

It is of course now common knowledge that the 25-year-old is primed to bring a close to his stint at the Parc des Princes this summer, to link up with Spanish giants Real Madrid on a free transfer.

After news of as much was forthcoming in the media on Thursday, Mbappé, 24 hours on, therefore felt it only right to confirm as much in front of the rest of Luis Enrique’s squad, in the club’s dressing room.

And, amid what no doubt proved an emotion-filled scene, one individual who was evidently keen to break the tension was PSG’s boss himself.

As per a report from Diario Sport, citing French outlet Le Parisien, upon Mbappé’s speech coming to an end, Luis Enrique turned to the France international’s brother, Ethan, to deliver a lighthearted query:

“And you? Are you leaving next summer too?,” the Spaniard questioned.

As a wry smile spread across the face of the 17-year-old, though, he assured that:

“No, I’m a kid, I’ll stay at PSG.”
