Antoine Griezmann discussed Atlético Madrid’s disappointing Champions League campaign after the Spanish side were knocked out of the competition.
Griezmann spoke to the media after Atlético’s 2-1 defeat to FC Porto in Group B. “We don’t deserve to go through to the last 16 or the Europa League. If you can only win one game in the group stage, this is what happens,” the France international said to Movistar+ in words reported by Marca.
“Now we have to work hard, keep our mouths shut and fight.”

Atlético finished bottom of Group B, with one win, two draws and three defeats from their six games. Los Colchoneros face Espanyol at the Cívitas Metropolitano in La Liga on Sunday 6 November.
