Ansu Fati has been ruled out of Wednesday’s La Liga clash against Rayo Vallecano due to a knee injury.
The Barcelona forward was substituted 16 minutes from time in his side’s defeat to Real Madrid in El Clásico on Sunday after sustaining a knock.
The Spain international, who is still just 18, signed a new long-term deal with the Camp Nou outfit last week.
A statement on Barcelona’s official website read: “Ansu Fati has pain in his right knee. He is unavailable for selection and his recovery will dictate his return”.
Fati only recently returned from a 10-month knee injury lay-off.
