Another Barcelona youngster tempted by move to Saudi Arabia

Concern is beginning to mount behind the scenes at La Liga giants Barcelona.

This comes amid confirmation that a 2nd member of the club’s academy setup is increasingly tempted to take his talents to Saudi Arabia before the month is out.

The subject of negotiations with Saudi clubs has taken its place front and centre in the headlines in Catalunya’s capital for several days now.

This comes amid the widespread understanding that Barca Atlètic captain Unai Hernández is inching towards an imminent move to SPL outfit Al Ittihad.

Unai, for his part, has long been considered one of the standout up-and-coming talents on the books of Barcelona.

In turn, it will no doubt come as a source of concern for the Blaugrana faithful to learn that he could well be followed out the exit door this month by another hugely exciting prospect.

As revealed by Barca insider Toni Juanmartí of Diario Sport:

‘Pau Prim is tempted to leave for Saudi Arabia. Nothing is set in stone, but a serious option on the table.’

Prim, another midfield starlet, is due to see his contract terms in Catalunya expire in the summer, with little progress having been made in talks over a renewal.

The 18-year-old, in turn, could well be bound for the Middle East.

Not only that, but yet another La Masia product, in Arnau Pradas, is being eyed by several Saudi clubs, too.
