Barcelona star Pau Cubarsí has on Friday confirmed his intention to stay put with the club for the remainder of his playing days.
Defender Cubarsí, of course, is now considered one of the first names on the team sheet in Catalunya’s capital.
Long lauded for his abilities both on and off the ball, the youngster, still just 17, has featured from the off in all but one of Barcelona’s fixtures across all competitions this season.
Cubarsí is widely viewed as the future of Spanish defending, expected to play a leading role at club and country level alike for the coming decade and beyond.
All of a Barca persuasion, in turn, will no doubt be delighted to hear that the stopper, for his part, only has eyes for one club when it comes to his plans moving forward.
Speaking in an interview with RAC1 on Friday, Cubarsí was drawn on his happiness in Blaugrana colours, and went on to explain:
“I want to win all the titles at Barça… I want to spend my whole career at Barça.”
