Another Barcelona injury absentee spotted back at club’s training ground

La Liga giants Barcelona have on Friday been afforded some more positive news on the personnel front.

The subject of injuries has of course taken its place front and centre in the chatter in Catalunya’s capital across the week to date.

For what feels like the first time in some time, however, as much has come for altogether positive reasons.

After Ansu Fati first rejoined group training earlier in the week, the winger was followed back onto the grass by long-term absentee Gavi, on Thursday.

And, as alluded to above, 24 hours on, another leading member of Hansi Flick’s squad, too, has been spotted in attendance at Barcelona’s training ground.

The player in question? Ronald Araújo.

Defender Araújo has spent the last couple of months recuperating in his home country of Uruguay, owing to an injury suffered whilst on international duty during the summer.

On Friday, though, his recovery took a step in the right direction, by way of a return to base at The Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper, to kickstart the final phase of his comeback schedule.
