‘Angry’ Hansi Flick gathered Barcelona stars in dressing room for post-Celta lecture

Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick made clear his frustration with his players, on the back of the club’s latest dropped points.

Barca of course marked their return to action last night, making the trip to Balaídos for a La Liga meeting with Celta Vigo.

When all was said and done, the Blaugrana were forced to make do with a share of the spoils, owing to a 2-2 stalemate.

This, though, only came after Flick’s men capitulated late on, surrendering a two-goal advantage inside the space of three minutes.

A number of Barcelona stars played an unwanted role in as much, with Marc Casadó and Jules Koundé most directly at fault.

On the back of the full-time whistle in Vigo, though, the aforementioned Hansi Flick made clear that he considered the blame as collective, explaining to the media:

“The result is a result of the whole match. Too many mistakes, too many bad passes, ball losses, bad decisions. It’s about the whole team. We win together and we lose together.”

And as much was followed in turn by an ‘angry’ dressing down on the part of Barca’s headmaster.

As per a report from Helena Condis of COPE:

‘After the 2-2 draw at Balaídos, Hansi Flick gathered all the players in the dressing room to talk to them. Flick was very angry because he believes they had a very bad game. There are no excuses.’
