‘An animal, a machine’ – Barcelona starlet hailed by Spanish teammates

Barcelona star Marc Casadó has today come in for some well-earned praise on the part of two fellow members of the Spanish national team setup.

This comes fresh off an evening to remember for the 21-year-old on Monday.

Afforded a first-ever starting berth for Spain at senior level, Casadó took full advantage of the opportunity, shining from his berth at the base of midfield en route to an eventual 3-2 downing of Switzerland.

The Barcelona academy product has since been widely hailed for his efforts, already tipped to enjoy a long and prosperous career on the international front.

And, as alluded to above, on Tuesday, such praise has been added to by two of Casadó’s new international teammates.

Drawn on the performance put forth by the youngster against Switzerland, match-winner Bryan Zaragoza, as cited by Diario Sport, explained:

“He’s an animal. I don’t even know what to say about how he played. It is barbaric. You see them so small that you are shocked by how they scratch.”

Yeremy Pino, who was also on target on Monday, added:

“He is a machine. He has done a recital, he has already shown his quality at Barça and now he has done it with the national team.”
