Alphonso Davies to Real Madrid – The latest

A fresh insight into the long-running saga linking Bayern Munich star Alphonso Davies with a move to Real Madrid has on Saturday been provided.

And the news will no doubt be met with widespread excitement on the part of those of a Real persuasion.

This comes amid confirmation that, despite having missed out on his signature during the summer, Davies’ name remains firmly on the wishlist in Spain’s capital.

As per a report from Relevo, ahead of the expiration of the Canadian’s terms in the summer of 2025:

‘Talks between the board of Bayern Munich and the left-back’s agents are non-existent despite Davies’ contractual situation.’

Real Madrid, as a result, remain waiting in the wings, confident that Davies will stick to his word to join the club as a free agent with a view to the 2025/26 campaign.

The plan of the brass at the Santiago Bernabéu, it is understood, is to provide boss Carlo Ancelotti with the options of both Davies, and current first-choice left-back Ferland Mendy.

Fran García, in turn, could soon find himself as the odd man out in Madrid.
