The powers that be at Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain have initiated contacts with their counterparts at Bayern Munich, over a move for Kingsley Coman.
That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, citing reports from Sky Sports.
The name of wide-man Coman has of course taken its place front and centre in the media headlines over the course of recent days.
This comes after word was forthcoming that the France international – deemed surplus to requirements by Bayern Munich this summer – has made his way onto the radar of Barcelona.
Amid their ongoing search for reinforcements out wide, and frustrations in the club’s pursuit of priority target Nico Williams, the Blaugrana are understood to have earmarked Coman as a leading fallback option.
As alluded to above, however, Barcelona are far from the only club interested.
As per MD, PSG, who also rivalled Barca for Nico Williams, have now positioned themselves firmly in the race for Coman, too.
Not only that, but the capital heavyweights are considered the 28-year-old’s ‘most likely’ landing spot, in a move which would see the parties reunited after Coman spent the early years of his career developing at the Parc des Princes.
