Abelardo: “We have had 10 cases of coronavirus at Espanyol.”

Speaking to Tiempo de Juego on Cope, Espanyol head coach Abelardo revealed there have been 10 positive cases of coronavirus at the Catalan club. From those affected by the virus, eight are players and two are members of staff.

Valencia CF had the most confirmed cases at a football club in Spain, with 25 affected, 10 players and 15 members of staff. Espanyol is the club with the second-highest number of reported cases of players and staff to have fallen ill.
