Real Madrid starlet Arda Güler has this weekend been urged to take into consideration a move to Premier League heavyweights Manchester United.
Midfielder Güler, for his part, is of course in the midst of something of a hit-and-miss opening to the new campaign.
Though he has enjoyed an uptick in game-time compared to his debut season, the 19-year-old is still evidently some way down the pecking order when it comes to the first-choice options of manager Carlo Ancelotti.
Murmurs, in turn, have even spread of late that Güler could seek out a mid-season exit, in a bid to secure a more prominent role elsewhere.
And, amid this context, one club who have this weekend been suggested to the youngster as a potential landing spot come in the form of Manchester United.
Speaking in an interview with Boyle Sports, as cited by Diario Sport, on Sunday, ex-United frontman Louis Saha explained:
“Manchester United have a lot to offer him. For a start, more minutes than he has at Real Madrid. Güler needs to play to reach his potential and perhaps a loan would do him good after his impressive performance at Euro 2024. He is a very intelligent player.”
