Real Madrid star Dani Carvajal has this week provided his take on the club’s most recent defensive addition – Dean Huijsen.
Stopper Huijsen, of course, saw his long-rumoured move to Spain’s capital made official by Real Madrid last week.
After the brass at the Santiago Bernabéu ramped up negotiations with their counterparts at Premier League outfit Bournemouth, an agreement was quickly found upon the former making clear their plans to activate the 20-year-old’s release clause.
Huijsen, in turn, is expected to link up with his new teammates ahead of the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup.
And as alluded to above, one such member of incoming manager Xabi Alonso’s Blancos squad has this week forwarded a welcome message to the youngster.
Drawn on Huijsen’s arrival at the club during an interview with El Chiringuito TV, the sidelined Dani Carvajal appeared in positive spirits, in responding:
“Dean Huijsen is a great signing. We welcome him and I’m sure he’ll help us a lot.”
