A whole host of leading members of the first-team setup at La Liga table-toppers are in the sights of the Spanish national team coaching staff.
That’s according to Relevo, who have on Thursday provided an insight into the situation.
Spain are of course primed to return to action in November, as part of the 3rd international break in the space of as many months.
Luis de la Fuente’s troops will first make the trip to Denmark, before playing host to Switzerland, in a pair of Nations League fixtures.
And, in the face of as much, La Roja’s coaching staff are keeping an eye on a large group of players from Hansi Flick’s Barcelona squad.
Amid what has proven a stellar opening to the campaign on the part of the Blaugrana, all of Lamine Yamal, Pau Cubarsí and Pedri are considered shoo-ins to be called up to Spain’s squad.
Also all but certain to be included is the returning Dani Olmo, whilst Fermín López is labelled as ‘almost indisputable’.
Ferran Torres’ presence or absence will depend on how his injury recovery develops, with the versatile attacker a near ever-present in the setup of Luis de la Fuente.
And three more Barca stars who are considered as increasingly close to senior international calls come in the form of Alejandro Balde, Iñigo Martínez, and Marc Casadó.
