5 Barcelona stars passed fit for Sevilla clash

Five members of the first-team ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona have been passed fit to feature in the club’s return to action this weekend.

Hansi Flick’s troops are of course primed to kick their campaign back into gear on Sunday, in a meeting with Sevilla.

Barcelona will head into proceedings with sights on a ninth win from ten to open the campaign in Spain’s top-flight, sitting pretty atop the table as things stand.

And, in efforts towards as much, boss Flick will be able to call upon a number of returning stars.

As per a report from Diario Sport, Gavi, Dani Olmo and Fermín López, sidelined for varying stretches of late owing to injury, have been given the green light to take their respective places in the Blaugrana’s matchday squad to face Sevilla.

Both Olmo and Fermín, meanwhile, look highly likely to feature off the bench at some point.

Elsewhere in Barca’s ranks, Lamine Yamal and Robert Lewandowski, too, are available for selection, after picking up fitness issues whilst on international duty this month.

A welcome boost for the Catalans ahead of a key early stretch in the club’s season.
