No fewer than four members of the first-team ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona have secured for themselves places in the statistical European Team of the Week.
This, of course, comes fresh off an outing to remember for Hansi Flick’s troops over the weekend.
After welcoming Real Valladolid to Catalunya’s capital fresh off a trio of successive victories to open the campaign, Barca ultimately made it four wins from four, in dominant fashion.
Owing to goals on the part of all of Raphinha (3), Robert Lewandowski, Jules Koundé, Dani Olmo and Ferran Torres, the Blaugrana put Valladolid to the sword by seven goals to nil.
And such endeavours have been aptly highlighted in the latest European Team of the Week.
As per statisticians WhoScored, a quartet of Barcelona stars were amongst the 11 best performers across the continent’s top-5 leagues this past weekend.
The players in question? Lamine Yamal, Dani Olmo, Raphinha, and Robert Lewandowski.
