A 2nd member of the first-team ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona has early this week been granted an early release from international duty.
The Blaugrana star in question? Karim Adeyemi.
Frontman Adeyemi was for his part included in the maiden German squad called upon by Jürgen Klopp for his country’s Nations League fixtures this month and next.
The explosive attacker, in turn, went on to feature from the off in Die Mannschaft’s clashes with both the Netherlands and Greece.
Adeyemi was part of a historic 44-man group called upon by new headmaster Jürgen Klopp and his staff, keen to get an up-close look at as many of Die Mannschaft’s players as possible over the course of the break.
And owing to the sheer volume of players in the German camp, the 24-year-old was today granted an early return to Catalunya’s capital. As per a report from Mundo Deportivo:
‘In addition to Eric Garcia, who left the Spanish national team camp due to discomfort in his left knee that advises caution, another of the 17 Barça internationals who has finished his participation with his country is Karim Adeyemi.’
