2 in, 2 out: Atlético Madrid name squad for Athletic Club clash

The squad of players set to be depended upon by Atlético Madrid to get the better of Athletic Club on Saturday evening has been unveiled.

And it features two notable inclusions, as well as two absentees.

When it comes to the former, Álvaro Morata is back, after being forced to sit out Atlético’s meeting with Alavés owing to an acute case of trigeminal neuralgia.

And joining his fellow countryman in returning to matchday duties is Marcos Llorente, who has now served his one-match ban for an accumulation of yellow cards.

Turning attentions towards those in line to miss out on Saturday night, Gabriel Paulista will play no part, after picking up an ankle injury in training during the week.

And fellow stopper Stefan Savić will not be at the disposal of boss Diego Simeone, either, owing to a suspension of his own.

As much means that Atléti will depend upon the following crop of players, in their crunch La Liga top-4 showdown with Athletic Club later this evening:

Oblak, Gomis, Moldovan; Giménez, Azpilicueta, Molina, Hermoso, Reinildo; De Paul, Koke, Saúl, Lino, Llorente, Riquelme, Vermeeren, Witsel, Barrios; Griezmann, Correa and Morata
