2 in, 1 out: Real Madrid’s predicted XI to face Man City

An insight into the predicted XI of stars set to be fielded by Spanish giants Real Madrid in the club’s upcoming showdown with Manchester City has today been forthcoming online.

The info comes courtesy of Relevo, and points towards one member of Carlo Ancelotti’s squad as being in line for likely disappointment on Tuesday night.

The player in question? Aurélien Tchouaméni.

France international Tchouaméni is ready and willing to line out in either of two positions against City – in the middle of the park, or at the heart of defence.

Relevo, though, point towards the 24-year-old as currently not being favoured for either role.

Real captain Nacho boasts the edge at the back, owing largely to his experience in high-profile fixtures, whilst Eduardo Camavinga is labelled ‘the favourite’ to join the likes of Toni Kroos and Federico Valverde in midfield.

The rest of the line-up is at this point in the campaign close to picking itself, with Los Blancos therefore looking set to take to the pitch in three days’ time as follows:

Lunin; Carvajal, Rüdiger, Nacho, Mendy; Valverde, Camavinga, Kroos, Bellingham; Rodrygo, Vinícius
