Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick intends to afford a chance to impress to one of the club’s standout up-and-coming talents in pre-season.
This comes amid the understanding that Ebrima Tunkara has piqued the attentions of Flick and his staff.
Tunkara, for his part, is a 16-year-old attacker, capable of lining out both on the wing, and in a more central position.
The Gambian has long been considered one of the standout talents in all of Spanish football, widely considered a future star in the making.
This past season, Tunkara became the third youngest player to ever feature for Barcelona at reserve level, after Lionel Messi and Guille Fernández.
And as alluded to above, such exploits soon look set to give rise to a senior call for Tunkara.
As per a report from Diario Sport, the prodigious attacker is expected to be called up to first-team training for pre-season in Catalunya this summer.
