1 in, 2 out: Man City boss Pep Guardiola provides injury latest before Real Madrid

Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola has on Friday provided a fresh insight into the injury situation in his squad.

And the news will no doubt pique attentions amongst all associated with La Liga giants Real Madrid…

This comes with City’s boss having confirmed that, ahead of his side’s Premier League trip to Crystal Palace on Saturday, goalkeeper Ederson is ‘feeling better’.

The Brazilian, sidelined since early last month, could in turn be part of the travelling squad bound for Selhurst Park, as well as, presumably, that set to visit Madrid for the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals next Tuesday.

“Ederson is feeling better and he could be back with the squad.”

On the other hand, still absent from City’s ranks in London tomorrow afternoon will be defensive duo Kyle Walker, and Nathan Aké.

Both are sidelined with respective muscular injuries at present, remaining serious doubts to feature at the Santiago Bernabéu as a result.

“Nathan Aké and Kyle Walker will not be back against Palace,” Guardiola added.
