1 in, 1 out: Villarreal injury latest before Sevilla

A fresh insight into the personnel situation at La Liga outfit Villarreal has been forthcoming late on Tuesday.

The info comes courtesy of Mundo Deportivo, and points towards mixed news stemming from the Villarreal training ground.

Fresh off a disappointing 3-2 defeat at the hands of Celta Vigo over the weekend, Marcelino’s troops reconvened in Castellón this morning.

And one returnee, as well as one high-profile absence, were noted.

When it comes to the former, Bertrand Traoré was back amongst the group, after a spell of two weeks on the sidelines with a muscular injury.

Turning attentions towards those to have missed out, Gerard Moreno, still, has not been deemed well enough to link back up with the rest of Marcelino’s squad.

The experienced frontman has missed the Yellow Submarine’s last two La Liga outings, and was put through an individualised training session once more on Tuesday.

Elsewhere, all of Denis Suárez, Yeremy Pino and Juan Foyth remain on the treatment table, too.
