How much will Barcelona earn per year from the new-look Spotify Camp Nou?

An insight into the kind of financial boost set to come the way of La Liga giants Barcelona upon the opening of the club’s new-look stadium has today been forthcoming.

Xavi’s Barcelona, of course, have spent the season to date playing their home fixtures away from the beloved Camp Nou.

As much comes amid ongoing renovations, in an effort to bring the ground into line with some of world football’s most modern stadiums.

The hope is that the venue will be opened to fans towards the end of this year, albeit at a reduced capacity of around 60%.

With the operation, in its entirety, having set an already financial crippled Barcelona back a considerable sum, what kind of monetary return, then, are the Blaugrana looking forward to upon their home being up-and-running at full capacity once more?

As alluded to above, an insight into precisely that has today been forthcoming.

The info comes courtesy of Diario Sport, and points towards expectations having been set at around €120 million-per-year on the part of the board in Catalunya’s capital.

This sum would be comprised of new sponsorship agreements, new VIP boxes, ticket sales, and more.
